PE
This half term Oaks will have PE on a Thursday afternoon.
It is essential that children have the correct PE kit in school. Please see our uniform page. Earrings also have to be removed for PE lessons.
Year 5 will be taking Swimming lessons.
Trunks or swim shorts (shorts must be lined and no longer than mid-thigh)
1 piece costume (close fitting leotards and footless tights may also be worn where normal swimwear is not appropriate for religious/ cultural reasons).
Homework
It will be handed out on a Friday and must be returned to school the following Wednesday.
Homework will include: English, Maths, and Spelling
Your child will also have a reading book which needs to be returned each Wednesday.
Children are encouraged to read and change their reading book at least once a week
